Our Story
Outdoor Resort Indio was founded with a clear vision: to create one of North America’s first upscale motorcoach resorts designed exclusively for Class A motorhomes. Inspired by the appeal of the Coachella Valley as a seasonal destination, the founders recognized the unique combination of sunshine, natural beauty, and lifestyle opportunities that make this region so special.
With an average of 360 sunny days each year, ORI quickly became a destination for travelers seeking warmth, community, and an elevated motorcoach experience. The resort’s thoughtfully planned layout includes wide streets, privacy hedges, 100-amp service at every lot, and ample space for coaches, vehicles, golf carts, and outdoor living features such as pergolas, kitchens, and casitas.
Conveniently located near Old Town La Quinta, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, PGA West, and El Paseo shopping, ORI offers both peaceful retreat and easy access to the best of the Coachella Valley.
Our Motorcoach Community
Outdoor Resort Indio is home to 419 individually owned motorcoach lots woven throughout a beautifully manicured 18-hole golf course. Ponds, waterfalls, palm trees, and vibrant landscaping create a setting that feels both resort-like and personal.
Architectural builds throughout the community reflect a balance of style and function, offering owners and renters spaces that extend living outdoors. These thoughtfully designed structures provide comfort, privacy, and flexibility, whether hosting friends, enjoying a quiet evening, or taking in the desert night sky.
