About Us
Like the founders of the Palm Springs area, commonly called the Coachella Valley, the founders of Outdoor Resort Indio recognized the attraction to this valley as a retirement location and a snowbird destination for many. With an average of 360 sunny days per year and slightly over just 3 inches of rain per year, you are pretty much guaranteed excellent weather.
ORI is just minutes from Old Town La Quinta, Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, PGA West golf facilities, and a short drive to the famous El Paseo shops.
One needs to tip a hat to the founders of ORI, as they were the first in North America to recognize the need to build an upscale resort exclusively for Class A motorhomes. Their foresight led to many other exclusive resort developments in the nation. All our lots were designed with 100-amp service, with privacy hedges and plenty of room to position your coach, car, and golf cart while allowing the development of outdoor kitchens, covered pergolas, or even full casitas on each lot.
Outdoor Resort Indio boasts an architectural landscape that beautifully weaves through a superbly manicured 18-hole golf course with rippling ponds, cascading waterfalls, and a rainbow of flowers intermingled with 419 unique motorcoach residential spaces. Each architectural build reflects a vision of function and design, creating spaces that elevate the overall living experience of Outdoor Resort Indio owners and renters.
These architectural builds provide owners and renters with the perfect blend of indoor comfort and outdoor experience. With stylish, modern designs complementing functional layouts, these new structures serve as the ideal spaces for owners and renters to enjoy the company of friends or relish the quiet of a starlit night right at their doorsteps. They offer an additional layer of luxury, providing a private retreat for owners and guests.
